Tempe, Arizona, club shooting: 14 left helpless

Tempe, Arizona, club.
The whole club was all a bad situation. It went from a harmless nightclub to a shootout. 14 people were hurt while hundreds decided to run away from the scene. I wouldn't say nightclubs are bad, but they can be dangerous, everyone is some aspect is dangerous. The real criminal here is the one who had the gun, and shot, because you can’t blame someone who just wanted to have fun, you blame the person who brought the gun. While I would say alcohol are bad, they shouldn't be blamed for everything. Yes they may be a factor, but it was someone with a gun, it wasn't the victims fault. There was two suspects and so far only one was caught the other got away. The suspect they caught was being held on thirteen counts of aggravated assault, and one count of assisting street gangs. The whole issue should be that someone had and gun, and hurt innocent people. It should be focused on alcohol is bad, it should be more on the subject of guns being bad.

Part 7
· Students know they should learn to decide on time, but they don’t do it. They always say, “Well, I knew it. I understood the key, but I did not act in time.” Though they may think correctly, and accurately understood the situation properly, they suddenly lose confidence. This is a world of competition; someone else is always trying to attain the same thing we are. So if we do not decide on time, someone else will attain what we want. Time is valuable in the external world. A tender bamboo can be easily bent, but if we try to bend a mature bamboo, it will break. That which we have to do today, we should not postpone for tomorrow, but we should also not make decisions in haste. We may have a setback if we make a wrong decision, but our mistakes will teach us.
· We must learn from the successes and mistakes of others. When we see another student succeeding greatly and honorably, learn how they do it and pattern your studies after their’s. Also, on the other hand, when you see how they do it and AVOID doing what they do or else you will join them in the failure’s club.
· Make the most of your time and opportunities while at school. Don’t waist valuable time.

How to Always Succeed in School : Part 6

How to Always Succeed in School
Part 6
Do the math: Even if you’re struggling in math, stay with it. Knowing math gives you options. It opens doors to good jobs in computers, engineering and business. And it helps your mind get organized.
·      Take math problems one step at a time.
·     Do your math homework every day. Falling being will make it that much harder.
·      Ask for help and study with friends if you are having problems understanding a concept.

·     The first point to understand is the philosophy and science of decision -- how to make decisions on time. The most successful person is that person who knows how to decide on time. There are many extraordinary brilliant people who understand things very quickly, but when the time comes to make a decision, when an opportunity comes, they withdraw and are not able to act. They do not know how to decide.

Global Issues

Global Issues

Poverty is an issue that affects the entire world. It contributes to other problems like crime, violence and exploitation. Watch he following videos paying attention to the problems and their causes that are discussed.

Global Issue Reflection:

  • Describe at least one of the issues discussed in as much detail as possible. They discussed about crime and violence and how they danced to get away from their poverty filled lifestyles. They wanted to escape as much as possible, to be away from how the crime and violence affected them. They needed they're own space to be themselves to have freedom.
  • What could you do to help solve this issue? I would stop the violence and crime, well you actually cant stop it you can help prevent it with neighborhood watch and just being a good person and looking out for other people. I would higher the arrival of the police, to help stop most of those crimes, to get away.
  • Do you think we have this issue or similar ones here in the U.S? Explain why or why not.  We do have similar issues in the U.S but only due to the fact that its everywhere its not something you can get away from, it is one of the ways you can just be a good person and to stop this on your own. Everywhere in the world has this issue some just want to stop it more than others, and you just need to get away from that area.

Poverty:

What is Poverty?

Poverty: (Noun) The state or condition of having little or no money goods or means of support; condition of being poor.

  • Synonyms: neediness, destitution, indulgence, pauperism, penury
  •  Antonyms: riches, wealth, plenty.

Quick Write:

  • Where do you see poverty in your community? I see poverty in different area's around my community. I see broken down houses because people aren't helping a person out. I normally see people living in tents around: parks or going down different streets. That doesn't mean our community is bad, it just means that we are not giving the help we should to people in need. There should be more funds, to support struggling families, to help the middle class not drop to such extremes as to go even lower than they already have. To create such means of support.
  • Think about facts and statistics we discussed. What did you already know? I already knew a lot about poverty. I did a research project on this topic in 4th grade. The facts and statistics are very complex it much more than just race, it about people not getting the funds they need. The Mexican and Black communities are the most in need because they have are the most of the population so that means they need to have sufficent help.
  • What surprised you? Nothing did.
