Statement:
“You have only always
to do what’s right. It will become easier by practice, and you enjoy the midst
of your trials the pleasure of an approving conscience.”
Robert E. Lee
Reflection: What Mr. Lee is trying to say is once
you do what’s right, you will try more and more to do what’s right. As time
progresses it will seem natural giving you the satisfaction of you well doing,
a good conscience. Once you believe what you’re doing is right, and feels
right, you will be happy. You can live in harmony with what you’re doing and
how good you feel about yourself.
